When followers of a Twitter account named “Animals Dying”, saw a video showing a dark figure swimming in muddy water while holding a fawn, they probably didn’t expect a happy end.
But they were in store for a pleasant surprise. Although the creature in the grainy footage initially appears to be an alligator at first, the labrador retrievers soon reveal themselves as a happy-go-lucky dog.
As for the little fawn stuck between its jaws, it was drowning, and the retriever saved its life.
The owner of the dog can be heard behind the camera praising it for the heroic save.
Surprisingly the owner shared the video with the caption “Made My Day .”
After the video was shared on social media, one commenter asked “Who thought that it was a Crocodile?”
