A couple of beautiful puppies have found a new home after a difficult start to life.
Workers at an animal sanctuary in Jackson, Michigan found two snow-white Husky puppies when they entered their facility in September.
Security video showed that a truck arrived at the Jackson County Animal Shelter and dropped the two animals over the fence.
At 6 months old, Ryder and Rayne should have been around 25 to 30 pounds, but weighed in at just 8 and 11 respectively.
However, the situation began to improve for the sisters, as they managed to gain a healthy amount of weight and regain their puppy’s energy prior to entering foster care on Monday.
“After suffering neglect, malnutrition, and parasites…these two survivors are ready to live their life at its best in a loving family!” The shelter posted on social media.
According to the shelter, the team ultimately found the person responsible for abandoning the dogs with an investigation continuing.
