A two-year-old boy was left in a critical condition in Worcestershire on Monday and an eight-year-old boy and girl, six, were also taken to hospital in Cannock in a separate incident.

A two-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital after he was attacked at a property in Egdon, Worcestershire, on Monday.
It followed an incident on Saturday in Cannock, which saw an eight-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl hospitalised.
Police did not specify how many dogs were involved in the Egdon attack, but they suggested that it was at least one.
The animals have been removed from the property and posed no risk to the public, West Mercia Police said.
The force said that the dogs weren’t considered to be prohibited breeds.
The boy’s family were taking him to hospital but stopped at Worcester Countryside Centre on advice from the ambulance service, and he was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Police stated that officers will remain at Worcester Countryside Centre, and the Egdon address “for a while”.
“This is an incredibly sad incident and our thoughts are with the young child and his family,” Chief Inspector Fergus Green said.
In Cannock, a 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of owning a dog dangerously out of control causing injury and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
And a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
The two children remain in hospital in a stable condition. Police said their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
