Delta is ergonomically-designed for one-handed use with three “action” buttons on the front for stimulation, tone, and/or vibration. The side buttons and clear LCD display help trainers switch between training dogs with different configurations easily. The sleek, compact dog device arrives with switchable long and short contact points for all breeds andcoat thicknesses.
Delta provides dog trainers with three options for training: continuous and momentary stimulation, vibration or tone. Or, use all 3 in 1 session. The trainer can select from three different correction configurations to find the best option for the situation and dog temperament, which is displayed on an LCD screen. By using Delta, you can train up to three dogs at the same time (with additional dog devices sold separately). With this device, you’ll be able to quickly change between each dog’s training.
Delta is a top-of-the-line, water resistant (IPX7) product that includes both transmitter and dog device with long lasting, rechargeable lithium ion batteries.
The Delta can train up to three dogs at once by purchasing additional dog devices (sold separately). Each dog device is equipped with a different color LED light for easy identification. You can also save different configurations for each dog on the handheld controller, so you can quickly switch between training sessions.
You can make your canine’s Delta experience unique by also buying one of our polyurethane-coated accessory collars in a color of your dreams (offered separately). If you want to add even more style, try a 3/4-inch woven nylon Lupine Collar (multiple versions available, purchased separately).

The Delta XC dog training system from Garmin is the most simple among other Delta devices. It does not have any beeper or barklimeter, but still is perfect and effective for training. Tri-Tronics technology gives dog trainers optimal control with simple operation. The handheld controller features intuitive, 3-button design with improved false-correction prevention (dog select lock) and easy-to-read LCD display. It has a changeable contact points (long and short). Together the system gives you 18 levels of continuous stimulation and 18 levels of momentary stimulation plus tone and vibration, in 3 correction configurations, and the ability to set the device to train 1, 2 or 3 dogs from up to ½ mile away (with purchase of additional dog devices).

Now that you have your Delta set up and ready to go, it’s time to start training your dog. The first step is to choose the appropriate correction level for your dog. We recommend starting at a lower level and gradually increasing it as needed. Once you have selected the correct correction level, it’s time to start training your dog. The Delta offers three basic correction configurations: momentary, continuous, and vibration. Each configuration is designed to address different behavioral issues, so be sure to select the one that best suits your needs.
For example, if you are trying to stop your dog from barking, you would use the momentary correction configuration. To do this, simply press and hold the button on the Delta XC Sport until your dog stops barking. Once your dog is quiet, release the button and praise your dog for good behavior.
If you are trying to stop your dog from jumping on guests, you would use the continuous correction configuration. To do this, press and hold the button on the Delta until your dog stops jumping. Once your dog is seated, release the button and praise your dog for good behavior.
And finally, if you are trying to stop your dog from digging in the yard, you would use the vibration correction configuration. To do this, press and hold the button on the Delta until your dog stops digging. Once your dog is seated, release the button and praise your dog for good behavior.
No matter which correction configuration you choose, the key to success is to be consistent with your commands and praise your dog for good behavior. With a little patience and practice, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your dog will learn to respond to the Delta.
